The PBS Kids Democracy Project

Uroksky, M.I. (ed). Basic Readings in US Democracy. USIA.

  Youth Leadership Initiative Provides teachers with free civic education projects that combine technology and learning, including the CD Rom, "A More Perfect Union," where students act as a campaign manager and try to win an election for a U.S. Senate candidate in the fictitious state of Franklin. These projects are backed by on-line lesson plans that meet each state's academic standards. The resources are free of charge to educators.
